Mindfulness for Somatic Healing:
Body-Centred Practices for Living Skillfully
with Tesia Bryski

This is the time for healing, and healing begins in the body. This workshop will focus on somatic healing; using mindfulness as a vehicle by which we can access our body’s wisdom. During this day, we will explore the body’s stress response and learn how to befriend our nervous system. We will explore techniques for resting and recharging, managing symptoms of stress and anxiety, and a toolbox of embodied practices that guide us to living a more skillful life.

Schedule:
9 AM • Welcome, introductions + opening meditation & discussion: Mindfulness of the body; the body’s stress response and how to listen to our body.
10:15 AM • Offline break
10:30 AM • Breath & Body - Gentle Flowing Yin Yoga Practice with Tina
11:15 AM • Introduction to mindful eating & lunchtime journaling with Tesia
11:30 AM • Offline Lunch Break : Mindful Eating & Journaling
12:30 PM • Guided Meditation & Mindfulness Talk : Mindfulness & Somatic Healing, befriending the nervous system + Mindful Walking instructions
2 PM • Mindful Walk Offline
2:30 PM • Restorative Yoga Nidra with Tina
3:15-4 PM • Living Skillfully & Closing Circle with Tesia & Tina
